Great Wednesday – January 25 – Tonight!
EYC- Sunday, January 22, 2012
WHAT ARE WE DOING?!
We’re going to have a blast, and a EGG-sta little bit of friendly competition…
This Sunday, for EYC, we’re having our 1st Annual “EGG DROP CHALLENGE”!
Now, you may say-”Ross… Eggs are for eating, not dropping!” Which I respond with “Hush!”
In The Loft, there will be random craft items and a whole bunch of EGG-stra stuff.
You’ll be assigned an Egg. This is not a hard or soft boiled egg… Its raw… It’s got gooey stuff inside.
You’ll have 45 minutes to design a contraption.
The purpose of the contraption is to keep your egg safe from the ground.
Once the 45 minutes is up, we’ll step out onto the balcony.
Then, one-by-one, you’ll drop your contraption, egg and all, from the balcony onto the hard concrete below.
If your egg survives, and is completely whole, without any cracks… You’ll win a prize!
Prizes include- candy, toys, walkie-talkies, hats, egg cartons, broken eggs, and more!
Come and have a blast!
TIMES:
Junior High- 12:30-2:00pm
Senior High- 1:30-3:00pm
Lunch is from 1:30-2:00pm
Welcome to The Loft Online!
This is the new website for the Youth Ministries at Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church!
Take a look around, and tell us what you think. Is there something you’d like to see? Something you think needs improving on? Something you would like changed? Let us know and we’ll do our best!
